We are excited to welcome you to a large (now nearly 2000!) and growing community of educators from all disciplines in medicine who have participated in a version of this course.  We will come together via the power of technology for 3 very full days of learning, interacting, networking and discovery .  In order to maximize your learning experience, we are going to ask you to do a few things in preparation.

First and foremost, we would like you to get to know all of us – we have recorded 30-second video introductions and we would like you to do the same.  It is easy and fun (requires literally only a couple of clicks from any device), and will be one of the ways that you get to connect with your fellow learners.  Please click on this link to record a 30-second introduction – What is your name? Where are you joining us from? How do you spend your time as an educator? Thank you for doing this – you will all have access to these throughout the course.

Second, this will not simply be a lecture-based course. We are going to take full advantage of the power of remote learning to bring in your voices from across the world.  You will end up meeting and interacting with people from all different parts of the globe and hear many different perspectives on medical education and its challenges.  To this end, we would like you to think ahead about some of these big picture topics for the very first session.  You will have a few moments to introduce yourselves to a small group of fellow attendees. In these sessions, please be prepared to share your current role in medical education, your reasoning for attending this course and some challenges you face in your education role.
